..NPR about the global supply chain, and the challenges at so many points. Wish I could find the exact broadcast to post, but couldn't . The expert they had was a professor at the Harvard Business School, Willy Shih. Some interesting reading on his page below.

In the segment, he focused on a number of industries, one being semiconductors where he spoke of the process from mining the silicone to the actually placing chips on a circuit board and how many interdependent processes that take place in specific geo-locations, are responsible for a circuit board being ready for use.
